Let's make a video for "Lighten Up" together!
Imagine: you, your family, your friends, your kids, parents, co-workers, etc., being crazy, wacky, and downright silly, having a great time enjoying yourselves, lip-syncing to "Lighten Up"... and being seen by HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS of viewers worldwide...
That's what I'm talkin' about!
So, what do you think? Wanna play? : )
If so, here's what you need to do:
- Download "Lighten Up" below for free (if you don't already have it)
- Film yourself, your family, your friends, your kids,
parents, co-workers, and even strangers on the street (after all, what
the heck is the song about, anyway?) playing, dancing, and lip-syncing
to the song
- use your flip phone, your camera phone, your HD camera, whatever...
- outdoors, indoors, on the subway, in a restaurant, in front of your town/state/country's capitol building, in the grocery store, in line at the movies, wherever...
- HAVE A BALL!!!
- Send your video files (.mpg, .avi, .wmv, or .mov) to
lightenup@shawnmaddenmusic.com
- Follow steps 1, 2, and 3 BEFORE JULY 31st, 2009!
There is a phenomenal videographer named Richard on this end of the line waiting for your video footage, and he will be compiling and editing them. Everyone who sends in video footage will be credited at the end of the video.
We'll be accepting videos until July 31st, at which point we'll start putting them together into a single video. I hope to have the whole thing ready to fly to all corners of the globe by mid-August/early September.
