Hello
friend and fellow traveler,
I have
so much to share with you, and yet I know your
time is priceless, so I will be brief:
It's
Election Day eve 2008, and I'm sure you've got a
lot on your mind; especially if you've been
watching the (bad) news programs on TV, tuning
into the (bad) news channels, or reading the
(bad) news papers . . .
Lately
I've been blessed to play music with some
beautiful souls - people who, every day, are
being beacons of light for the people around
them - and I'm so grateful to be aware that,
despite the bad news coming from seemingly every
which way, there is beauty and light and love
and consciousness flowering everywhere I turn.
And the
music - oh, the music! It's exquisite.
I wish I could carry you around with me, so you
can hear each delicious note . . .
Singing
- especially with others - reminds me that it's
the heart connections that we share with others
that makes the difference between heaven and
hell on earth . . .
Today
I've been sitting here recovering from a mild
flu, thinking about you, thinking about music,
and thinking about the next time you and me and
the music are all together in the same place at
the same time, reminiscing about old times,
enjoying the moment, and creating the future . .
.
There's lots of folks who have given me their
email addresses in the past month or so, and
haven't yet received one of these notes; perhaps
you're one of them.
If
so, it's so good to be in communication with you
again, and I hope to see you soon wherever the
music leads us.
